2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 Tourer- Detailed Specifications And Features

Triumph offers some amazing motorcycles of which the tourers are quite popular. For a while now motorcycle enthusiasts like me have been waiting for the 2013 iteration of the Triumph Trophy 1200 Tourer. Recently the 2013 Trophy 1200 model was revealed and that too officially, no leaked images. Triumph plans to inject the motorcycle into the market in September of this year as the pricing is not available, inevitably we will have to wait for the official pricing at the time of its launch.

The bike will compete with the likes of BMW K1600GT and R1200RT which are priced at £15,495 and £12,595 respectively. We estimate the price of Trophy 1200 will be in the range of £13,900 to £14,200. Technically the motorcycle sports the same 1215 cc engine as the Tiger Explorer, only difference is that in Trophy the sixth gear will be at a higher ratio. The company clearly stated in the presentation that they do not intend to sell more than 1500 units of the same in the first year.
