2016 Indian Scout Sixty – The Staunch Soldier

Indian Motorcycles has made its brand more accessible to the public with the introduction of the 2016 Indian Scout Sixty. The latest addition to the Scout range was presented at the EICMA 2015 held in Milan and comes with a smaller engine and a lower price tag. The Scout Sixty shares most of the mechanicals and body panels with its bigger sibling which was launched back in 2014. The Scout has turned out to be a very successful model for the brand and the newest addition to the range will only increase its reach. Price

Indian has priced the entry level Scout Sixty at $8999. Although the Harley Davidson Iron 883 and the 48 start at $7400 and $8400 respectively, they are low on power and torque as compared to the more expensive Scout Sixty.

Powering the Scout Sixty is a 61 cubic inch (999 cc) capacity liquid cooled V-twin engine, hence the name, which puts out 78 HP of peak power and 88.8 Nm of peak torque.
