BMW HP4 Race Launch Tomorrow; Expected Price – GBP 68,000

BMW’s meanest bike till date, the HP4 RACE is all set to launch tomorrow. The HP4 RACE is what happens when you put the S1000RR on a steroid-laced diet. Among its competitors is the Ducati 1299 Superleggera. However, while that bike makes do with a twin-cylinder engine, the HP4 RACE has a four-cylinder motor. A carbon fibre chassis underpins this bike while there are titanium brake pistons performing the stopping duties. Weighing 171kg with fuel and fluids, this bike’s power-to-weight ratio must be quite staggering. With all that, what are you required to pay? GBP 68,000. Interested? Then read on to know more about BMW HP4 RACE launch specifications and other details.

Outside of players such as MV Agusta and Ducati, there is no production bike in the world with as much power as BMW HP4 RACE. Yes, there is the Kawasaki H2, but it uses a supercharger. The HP4 RACE has no forced air induction. Even more surprising a fact here is that it will have a production run of 750 units. Considering that Ducati 1299 Superleggera’s 500 units have already sold out, how long will it take for BMW to sell 750 units of this bike? Speaking of 750 HP4 RACE units, BMW has not clarified which market has been allocated how many units. However, you should bother about that later. First, pray that there are still some units left for you to secure one from.
