A year ago Benelli introduced the Benelli Motard 250 which has been specifically designed for emerging markets. The bike was priced very competitively and was targeted at the younger generation who is conscious about the money it sheds out of its pocket.
For the year 2013, Benelli has released a new entry level naked sportbike called the UNO C 250. The Chinese owned Italian manufacturer, with the UNO C 250 naked bike once again targets the younger generation which demands safety and looks at the same time. The bike has been specifically designed for Asian markets.
The UNO C 250 is light and easy to maneuver and offers excellent technological and aesthetic solutions. The UNO C 250 features the amazingly talented 4 stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine which delivers really interesting performance and high fuel efficiency at the same time. Additional features of the engine include electronic injection, double overhead camshaft, wet sump lubrication, wet clutch and final chain drive.
The UNO C 250’s 4 stroke engine develops a max power of 24.5 BHP or 18 kW at 9000 RPM and peak torque of 21 Nm or 15 ft. lbs. at 7000 RPM. The bike features a steel trestle frame which in combination with the bike’s compact size and low weight, provides brilliant handling characteristics and maneuverability. For exceptional ride quality comes from the suspension which is made of a pair of hydraulic fork at the front and a mono shock at the rear.
Benelli has always taken care of the safety of its customers and in this motorcycle, Benelli offers a braking system which consists of two steel disc brakes ensuring utmost control in limited spaces. The rims of 17 “aluminum alloys get mounted with 100/70 front and 130/80 rear tires.
The looks are really impressive with an all exposing design which looks refined at the same time. The UNO C 250 is available in white, red and black colors, and will hit the showrooms by mid 2013. Further if the response of the motorcycles is overwhelming enough, Benelli may introduce a smaller UNO C 150 model of the same.
