Then, the bike was in unfinished state with pending paint job and a few other to-be-made changes. Details were unconfirmed as well, with speculations saying that the bike would equip RC8 R\u2019s engine with a rated power output of close to 150 BHP.<\/p>\n<p>The bike is scheduled to make its debut at the INTERMOT exhibition in Cologne, Germany between 3 and 7 October 2012. To our surprise and KTM\u2019s mistake, the official brochure picture of the KTM 1190 Adventure R is out ahead of its unveiling. Though it is a single image, it tells much about the upcoming motorcycle.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R Touring Motorcycle 2\" border=\"0\" alt=\"2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R Touring Motorcycle 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/2013-KTM-1190-Adventure-R-Touring-Motorcycle-2.jpg\" width=\"680\" height=\"425\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Some of the features which we are surely going to see in the motorcycle are as follows:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First and foremost we are going to see the motorcycle in Orange, as seen in the image above\n<li>The bike puts out 148 BHP to be precise (150 PS)\n<li>It weighs 235 kg wet\n<li>Four driving modes\n<li>Traction Control\n<li>Ride by Wire\n<li>Multi mode ABS\n<li>Adjustable windscreen\n<li>Left side chain drive\n<li>2 into 1 exhaust<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R Touring Motorcycle 1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R Touring Motorcycle 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/2013-KTM-1190-Adventure-R-Touring-Motorcycle-1.jpg\" width=\"680\" height=\"425\"><\/p>\n<p>The bike will be in direct competition with other touring motorcycles of its class, especially the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/2013-ducati-multistrada-pictures-features-and-details\/765\/\" target=\"_blank\">2013 Ducati Multistrada<\/a> and BMW R1200 GS.
