BMW\u2019s flagship SUV is ready to get a mid-cycle nip-and-tuck and the upcoming facelift, which will be revealed later this year, has already leaked through ixforums<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

BMW is prepping to give its biggest SUV ever a mid-life makeover later this year. The 2023 BMW X7 LCi was leaked a few hours ago through ixforums and the only available image, which looks like it belongs to the media kit, has given us a fair idea of what one can expect from the upcoming model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 BMW X7 LCi Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The XL-size three-row SUV took the fight straight to the likes of Land Rover Range Rover as well as the Mercedes-Benz GLS and the mid-cycle updates should work well to infuse some freshness with the four-year-old luxo-barge. In fact, the changes won\u2019t be restricted to the front-end as the interior will receive its fair share of enhancements. The Life Cycle Impulse (LCi) was leaked accidentally in Belarus as the image you see on this page was accidentally uploaded on the official website while updating the image gallery for the outgoing model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per this leaked image, the 2023 BMW X7 would feature a pair of new split headlamps that will offer Laserlight beams. The LED DRLs will have their own section and the new lighting elements do give the front-end a slightly more aggressive look. The fresh styling is inline with the Bavarian carmaker\u2019s latest design language that we first saw on the i7 as well as the 2023 7\u2019er. We\u2019re not too sure if we love what we see but it looks like it would be best to reserve the judgement until we can see this full-size SUV in flesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interior and Specifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, though, BMW has decided to refrain from making the grille even bigger, though the front bumper has been revamped for a neater look. Even the hood seems to have been redone as it looks more muscular. In the side profile, the 2023 BMW X7 gets stylish 23-inch mags that have a typical BMW-ish look. There\u2019s no info on the cabin but safely expect it to get a new iDrive and, perhaps, an updated dashboard along with an upholstery change. The updated model is likely to debut in August this year. Along with the cosmetic updates, there\u2019ll be some engine variant rejig, with the most substantial change coming in the form of the X7 M60i that would replace the M50i.
