The launch took place on\u00a0\u00a02<sup>nd<\/sup> August 2014 at the 74<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and the bike was\u00a0available for demo throughout the week.\u00a0 The price of the Motorcycle is\u00a0around USD 26,900 but a hefty add-on to the sticker price in terms of import, taxes and customs is expected. It will be launched in three color schemes Thunder Black, Indian Motorcycle Red and Ivory Green. The bike has revived moniker which was last seen on the company\u2019s 2009 models.\u00a0 When launched the bike will be pitted against more modern cruisers like Harley-Davidson Electra Guide and Kawasaki Vulcan.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2494\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IndianRoadmaster1.jpg\" alt=\"IndianRoadmaster(1)\" width=\"684\" height=\"484\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Technicalities and Specifications<\/h2>\n<p>The Luxury Touring Roadmaster is powered by company\u2019s Thunder Stroke 49 degree 1811cc engine, a 111 cubic-inch V-twin engine which offers 119 pound-feet of torque.\u00a0 The bike has Hard-sided saddlebags and a roomy quick-release with a Carpet-lined rear trunk\u2014both featuring remote locking for security and convenience as standard. It also has 38 gallons of weatherproof storage and enhanced driver leg room.\u00a0 It has Adjustable passenger floorboards, desert Tan Genuine Leather heated seats with individual controls and high\/low settings. The Horizon Windscreen features power-adjust. The bike flaunts Heated grips featuring 10 temperature settings with adjustable airflow lower fairings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IndianRoadmaster2.jpg\" alt=\"IndianRoadmaster(2)\" width=\"684\" height=\"484\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is a fully loaded luxury tourer with additional features like High-resolution Anti-Lock Brakes, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, keyless ignition with remote saddlebag and trunk locks. The bike also has a Chrome front and rear highway bars with pathfinder LED Lighting throughout.
