Within these 5 years hardly anything has changed from BMW\u2019s end but for the year 2013 the same has made some very interesting changes to its line-up.<\/p>\n<p>For the coming year BMW has unveiled the 2013 F800GS and F700GS model. The F800GS essentially remains the same while the F650GS now grows to a bigger and better F700GS, with the latter offering an additional 4 BHP over the former (700\u2019s 75 BHP against 650\u2019s 71 BHP). The F650GS is for amateurs while the new 700GS for experienced riders and the F800GS and F1200GS are meant for experts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"BMW F700GS and F800GS\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/BMW-F700GS-and-F800GS.jpg\" alt=\"BMW F700GS and F800GS\" width=\"700\" height=\"470\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Starting with the new F700GS, some of the highlighting features include excellent fuel economy, a lower seat height and everyday use all-around capabilities. Contrastingly, the F800GS is a more superior bike with better on-road touring and off-road qualities. Gladly BMW never compromises on safety which is why both the bikes come with ABS (standard), optional ASC (Automatic Stability Control) and ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"2013 BMW F700GS\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/2013-BMW-F700GS.jpg\" alt=\"2013 BMW F700GS\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>image \u2013 2013 BMW F700GS<\/p>\n<p>Technically both the motorcycles are powered by the same 798 CC, liquid cooled, 4 valve, 2 cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection. The arrangement also features a closed-loop catalytic converter and a 6 speed gearbox. In F700GS the engine puts out 75 BHP at 7300 RPM, a significant 4 BHP improvement over its predecessor and 77 Nm at 5500 RPM. For the F800GS the power and torque figures remain unchanged at 85 BHP @ 7500 RPM and 83 Nm @ 5750 RPM respectively.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px;
