Harley Davidson<\/a> entered India in 2009 and since then the journey has been so encouraging. In three years, the number of Harley Davidson owners have risen appreciably and with the increasing fan following, Harley Davidson India is encouraged to bring new models to this very new market.<\/p>\n

The latest motorcycle to make it to the manufacturer\u2019s Indian portfolio is the FXDF Harley Davidson\u00a0Dyna Fat Bob<\/strong> that was launched today in New Delhi, India. The motorcycle will be assembled at the company\u2019s Bawal, Haryana facility and is the sixth model to have arrived as CKD<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The performance and appeal of the bike is a real big punch. It has a spectacularly unique front end with twin headlights. At the rear you have twin Tommy Gun exhausts that puts out glorious growling of the massive 1600 CC V-twin engine.<\/p>\n

ENGINE<\/strong><\/p>\n

The motorcycle comes with an air cooled, Twin Cam 96 engine delivering 126 Nm @ 3500 rpm of peak torque. This humongous 1585 cc engine is mated to a six speed Cruise Drive transmission which is claimed to provide smooth, quiet shifting and reduces engine speed on the highway, so one gets better match between engine turnover and road speed.<\/p>\n

STYLING<\/strong><\/p>\n

As mentioned above, the Fat Bob flaunts a uniquely styled front end with a pair of muscled up forks, huge headlamp and <\/strong>130\/90B16 front wheel wrapped in a tire which gives it a powerful stance. It features a distinctive cast chrome <\/strong>double headlamp cluster. At the rear if features the \u2018Tommy Gun\u2019 2-1-2 exhaust\u00a0 which provides stopping performance, the signature Harley Davidson rumble and a lot of oomph. One would also notice a pair of genuine HD chrome covered shocks at the rear.<\/p>\n

UNIQUE FEATURE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Talking about the unique features of the motorcycle, it comes with Anti-Lock Breaking System (ABS<\/a>). Interestingly the components of the system are hidden within the wheel hub, giving it a clean look.<\/p>\n

As it has been all these years, Harley models never compromise neither on style nor comfort and the Fat Bob is no exception. It comes with a seat which is uniquely styled and at the same time does not compromise on comfort. The suspension is preload adjustable so that it suits everyone\u2019s riding style. Braking power comes from a pair of high performance, sleek design, 4 piston fixed caliper configuration.<\/p>\n
