Recently the company produced its one millionth GSX-R motorcycle and is celebrating this special achievement with a commemorative edition of its flagship sportsbike, the GSX-R1000. Worldwide the company will launch 1985 commemorative editions of the GSX-R1000 of which 1000 will be exclusive to the US market.<\/p>\n<p>Appearance wise the bike is very different from the standard model, after all that\u2019s what a limited edition is all about, and will arrive with some cosmetic add-ons such as a serial plate with its unique serial number along with commemorative edition written on it, red-anodized front fork caps, gold colored front fork tubes, red colored rear suspension, special wheels, Brembo caliper on the front with the company\u2019s logo in red, and a special key chain featuring the \u2018R\u2019 logo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Commemorative Edition 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/2013-Suzuki-GSX-R1000-Commemorative-Edition-1.jpg\" alt=\"2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Commemorative Edition 1\" width=\"680\" height=\"445\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The motorcycle will be <strong>priced at $13,299<\/strong>, which is $200 more than the standard model. <em>(Technical Specifications at the bottom of the post)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Aside from the GSX-R1000 Commemorative edition there will also be a limited edition of the supersport class contender, the Hayabusa. Alike the GSX-R1000, it will not feature any technical upgrades or changes but will get a couple of tweaks enhancing its visual appeal, probably to stay in the competition.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"2013 Suzuki Hayabusa Limited Edition\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/2013-Suzuki-Hayabusa-Limited-Edition.jpg\" alt=\"2013 Suzuki Hayabusa Limited Edition\" width=\"680\" height=\"401\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At the front it will feature Brembo\u2019s radial mount Monobloc caliper. The standard <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carblogindia.com\/abs-anti-lock-braking-system-and-ebd-electronic-brake-force-distribution-in-plain-english\/\" target=\"_blank\">ABS<\/a> now comes in a more compact and lightweight design ensuring the same performance at a lesser weight.
