After such a long weight the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has made a few yet remarkable updates in the <strong>2013 <\/strong><strong>Honda<\/strong><strong> CBR600RR<\/strong> so as to keep it in competition with other motorcycles from its class.<\/p>\n<p>The first major update is the facelift which is basically to maintain the appeal of the bike. The second update is a set of new front suspension from Showa featuring the current generation Big Piston Fork technology. And the third update is a new set of wheels.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"2013 Honda CBR600RR white\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/2013-Honda-CBR600RR-white.jpg\" alt=\"2013 Honda CBR600RR white\" width=\"680\" height=\"361\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Price of 2013 Honda CBR600RR<\/h3>\n<p>The new 2013 Honda CBR600RR has been priced at USD $11,540.<\/p>\n<h3>Features Of New 2013 Honda CBR600RR<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Redesigned, centrally located ram-air intake system and improved ECU and PGM-DSFI setting deliver more power in the midrange and enhanced throttle response in the high-rpm range.<\/li>\n<li>New 41mm Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF) features a larger damper piston that generates damping forces at lower internal pressures to allow for smoother, more responsive fork action. Adjustable for spring preload plus compression and rebound damping adjustability.<\/li>\n<li>Unit Pro-Link\u00ae rear suspension features a revised shock with new damper settings for improved overall performance.<\/li>\n<li>Using knowledge gained from the Honda RC212V MotoGP race program, aerodynamic improvements were made to this newest CBR600RR, which shows a 6.5 percent decrease in drag over the previous model. The development and testing used with this all-new CBR600RR bodywork, in turn, led to aerodynamic advancements that have been incorporated into the current RC213V MotoGP racing machine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"2013 Honda CBR600RR ABS Red\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/2013-Honda-CBR600RR-ABS-Red.jpg\" alt=\"2013 Honda CBR600RR ABS Red\" width=\"680\" height=\"414\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This newly found aerodynamic efficiency lends itself to more agile handling and improved wind deflection for enhanced rider comfort.<\/li>\n<li>Repsol Edition racing colors available for the first time ever on the CBR600RR (standard model only).<\/li>\n<li>Standard model available in Red, Repsol Edition or White\/Blue\/Red.<\/li>\n<li>Transferable one-year, unlimited-mileage limited warranty; extended coverage available with a Honda Protection Plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"2013 Honda CBR600RR\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/2013-Honda-CBR600RR.jpg\" alt=\"2013 Honda CBR600RR\" width=\"680\" height=\"355\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Talking about the facelift now the new face is said to be derived from Honda\u2019s factory MotoGP team. The nose now looks flat and the headlamps now have been position closer to each other compared to the far apart positioning seen in its predecessors. The windscreen is claimed to be smaller, while the fuel tank has been tweaked. The new CBR600RR also gets fitted with a new LED style taillight.<\/p>\n<p>The new CBR will be available in three colors: Red, Repsol Edition and White\/Red\/Blue and will hit the showrooms in US by March 2013.
