{"id":1375,"date":"2012-11-04T14:15:57","date_gmt":"2012-11-04T08:45:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/?p=1375"},"modified":"2012-11-14T14:17:02","modified_gmt":"2012-11-14T08:47:02","slug":"2013-benelli-bn600","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/2013-benelli-bn600\/1375\/","title":{"rendered":"2013 Benelli BN600 Revealed At EICMA- Pictures And Details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On one hand where Benelli has launched the all new Benelli UNO C 250 naked entry level sportbike, on the other this Chinese-owned Italian motorcycle manufacturer has released a picture of a new 600 CC\u00a0 motorcycle named <strong>2013 Benelli BN600<\/strong>. Ever since the Italian manufacturer was acquired by the Chinese Qianjiang Group, it has shown least activity in the performance bike space.<\/p>\n<p>But this year at the 2012 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/tag\/eicma\" target=\"_blank\">EICMA show<\/a> which is scheduled to begin soon, Benelli will bring some change in its activities by premiering the Benelli BN600.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"2013 Benelli 600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/2013-Benelli-600.jpg\" alt=\"2013 Benelli 600\" width=\"680\" height=\"496\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The motorcycle features a liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel-injected, four-valve, 600cc engine with 38mm throttle. With this 600 CC unit Benelli has moved from its traditional three cylinder engines to a more modern 4 cylinder configuration. The 600 CC engine is not immensely powerful but develops a healthy max power of 82 BHP at 11,500 RPM and peak torque of 43 Nm or 38 lbs. ft. at 10,500 RPM. Other notable features of the BN600 are wet sump lubrication system, wet clutch and a six speed gearbox.<\/p>\n<p>Benelli says that the motorcycle will have a really competitive price compared to other naked motorcycles in the market.<\/p>\n<p>BN600 features a steel trellis \/ aluminum plate design chassis complemented by 50 mm USD fork suspension at the front and 320 mm radial brakes. The suspension is assumed to be non adjustable as the motorcycle will be a budget product from this long time absentee. The bike will also feature 17\u201d alloy wheels with 120\/70 front and 180\/55 rear tires. The bike will have a 16 litre (3.92 gallon) fuel tank.<\/p>\n<p>The BN600 will be available in three colors: Orange, White and Black.<\/p>\n<p>If Benelli\u2019s word is to be believed, the BN600 will be a budget machine which looks exquisite and is expected to perform well. So all in all it will be a great value for money motorcycle which could overshadow Benelli\u2019s dubious history of unreliability and non existent dealer network.
