First it was BMW that recalled three of its models: K1200S, K1200R and K1200R Sport, followed by Harley Davidson which was made to recall all model year 2012 and certain 2013 Harley Davidson VRSCDX (V-Rod Night Rod Special) models.

What we hear next is that Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has announced a recall for 7000 motorcycles of the 2012 and 2013 model year with electronic fuel injection (EFI) system. The decision for the recall was taken after concerns were raised over a possible leak in fuel hoses on these bikes. This manufacturer is attributing the problem to a defect in manufacturing. Interestingly, there have been no reports of any accidents caused by the mentioned problem, but taking no chances, KTM has announced for this precautionary recall.

The models that are included in the recall are as follows:

KTM 250 EXC-F Six Days EU

KTM 250 SX-F EU

KTM 350 EXC-F EU/USA

KTM 350 XCF-W USA

KTM 350 SX-F EU

KTM Freeride 350 EU

KTM 450 EXC EU/AUS

KTM 500 EXC EU/AUS/USA

All these models come from the model year 2012 off-road range.
