A while back it was launched in India, the newest market for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/tag\/ktm\/\" target=\"_blank\">KTM<\/a>, and was made available in just one paint scheme, the traditional orange. What we have come to know lately is that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/tag\/bajaj\" target=\"_blank\">Bajaj<\/a>, KTM\u2019s Indian partner, has launched two new paint schemes in the domestic market and the already stunning Duke 200 now looks more stunning.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe Bajaj figured out the traditional Orange colour scheme is not acceptable for all the riders and therefore it has come out with a pair of new colours, White and Black.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"KTM Duke 200 White Colour\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/KTM-Duke-200-White-Colour.jpg\" alt=\"KTM Duke 200 White Colour\" width=\"540\" height=\"351\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The White Duke 200 features white as the base colour with orange and black decals across the length, while the Black Duke 200 gets black as the base colour with white and orange decals. Although there is not much to talk about the new colours except for the fact that they are certainly not as aggressive looking as the traditional Orange, prospective buyers who were not considering the Duke mainly because of the single paint scheme are more likely to consider it now.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"KTM Duke 200 Black Colour\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/KTM-Duke-200-Black-Colour.jpg\" alt=\"KTM Duke 200 Black Colour\" width=\"540\" height=\"360\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another thing to be mentioned here is that buyers do opt out as nobody wants his Duke to be look common all because of the Orange colour, but they have three choices in total. Recently, we also informed you that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ridetalks.com\/news\/ktm-duke-200-price-hiked\/1145\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bajaj Auto hiked the prices of the Duke 200 between Rs.8,000 and Rs.Rs.13,000 ($150 to $245)<\/a>, and now it would be interesting to see how well the bike sells. The company had said that the price hike would not affect the sales of the motorcycle and in the upcoming festive season in India, Bajaj Auto expects to sell good numbers.<\/p>\n<p>The KTM Duke 200 for India is powered by a 200 CC, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that generates a max power of 25 BHP and a peak torque of 19.2 Nm. The gear ratios have been so set that the motorcycle performs really well and as an overall package offers great value for money.
