In 2011, Ducati<\/a> introduced the Diavel as a power cruiser and the motorcycle quickly gained recognition, expanding the company\u2019s market. Prior to the launch of Diavel, there was no such model in the company international line-up, and the motorcycle brought more fame to it. The company has unveiled the 2013 Ducati Diavel line-up<\/strong> which essentially is a carryover but what is interesting is the addition of two special addition models \u2013 Diavel Cromo and Diavel AMG (the latter is produced together with Mercedes AMG).<\/p>\n

There are also some new colour schemes for the two Diavel models: Diavel Carbon and Diavel Standard. While the Diavel Carbon arrives in Carbon Red and Black colours, the Standard in available in three colour schemes: Diavel Dark in matte black with black-finished components, metallic blue and Ducati red. The Metallic Blue and Ducati Red colour schemes include stylish white stripes, white wheels and other special defining features.<\/p>\n

Just below the massive fuel tank is a 1198 CC Testastretta 11-degree engine that is good for 162 horses and 94 ft.lbs. of torque for a motorcycle that weighs 452 to 463 lbs. The engine is coupled to a six speed transmission with a slipper clutch for ultra light feel at the lever. As standard comes the latest Ducati technology such as ABS<\/a>, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes. Braking power comes from the dual 320 mm discs featuring Brembo Monoblock four piston callipers at the front and a single 265 mm disc squeezed by two piston calliper at the rear. <\/p>\n

Ducati says: “The increase in bottom-end torque is managed by Ducati’s Ride-by-Wire (RbW) system to considerably enhance the Diavel’s effortless ridability, while ensuring plenty of power remains on tap for high-rpm riding.”<\/em><\/p>\n
