Kawasaki Z125 Unveiled!

Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the renowned Japanese bike manufacturer, has unveiled the smallest member of its Z-series of motorcycles. Christened as the Kawasaki Z125, the latest street-naked will make its official debut at the upcoming 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The Z125 will go on sale in two variants – Z125 and Z125 Pro. The all-new Kawasaki Z125, which has become the first-ever low capacity street-naked from the popular Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, will go on sale in Japan and certain South East Asian markets, where it will rival the likes of Honda MSX 125 and Grom. In terms of styling, the new motorcycle pays homage to the bigger models in the Z line-up. Highlights of its design include a chiseled fuel tank, an under belly exhaust, stylish tank extensions and a sleep tail-piece that features a Z-shaped LED tail-lamp.

Kawasaki Z125 Specs

Powering the new motorcycle is an air-cooled 125cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that pumps out a maximum power of 9.5 PS. While the Z125 features a 4-speed automatic transmission, the Z125 Pro boasts of a 4-speed manual gearbox. The new Z125 tips the scales at mere 101 kgs, which means it benefits from an excellent power-to-weight ratio. The new bikes get USD front forks and a monoshock suspension at the rear. It features a petal disc brake both at the front and the rear wheel (200mm front, 184mm rear).

The new bike will go on sale in three colors – ‘Candy Lime Green’, ‘Metallic Graphite Gray’ and ‘Candy Burnt Orange’.
