Hyosung has launched its two premium cruiser motorcycles in India on 16th January 2013 in Mumbai, India. These are 2013 Hyosung GT650R and Hyosung Aquila Pro which have been priced quite aggressively at Rs. 4,79,000 (US $8700) and Rs. 4,99,000 (US $ 9100) ex-showroom Delhi price.
The GT650R is powered by a 647 CC V-Twin liquid cooled engine which produces 72.6 BHP of peak power at 9000 RPM and 61 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. It weighs 215 Kg and has a 6 speed manual transmission system. With high power and light weight, it has a power to weight ratio of 338 BHP per 1000 Kg.
The Aquila Pro is powered a V-Twin liquid cooled heart with a peak power of 74 BHP and peak torque of 62 Nm and reach a top speed of 195 KMPH.
These motorcycles will be retailed through the dealership network of DSK Hyosung in India along with the other Hyosung motorcycles. The DSK group is presently selling GT250R, GT650 N and ST7 in India along with the two motorcycles launched today.
