KTM has officially unveiled the KTM Duke 390 towards early 2013 with a more powerful engine when compared to thee popular KTM Duke 125 and KTM Duke 200 which are quite popular in many International markets across the world. KTM has officially revealed the video of the KTM Duke 390 along with all the pictures and specifications which are already in the wild on the world wide web.

Based on the looks of the KTM Duke 390 from the leaked pictures, the Duke 390 seems to have evolved over the Duke 200 with similar design. The front looks more aggressive and the headlamps are larger. The front suspension forks are larger in diameter with smart looking alloy wheels with chunky tyres. The fuel tank styling is quite similar to the Duke 220 again. The trellis frame in orange color however makes it look very sporty.

The split seats are also quite sporty with the side profile of Duke 390 being quite an eye catcher. The centrally mounted mono-shock rear suspension is also quite visible on the side view with a wide gap between the rear wheel and the rear seat. There is no tyre hugger towards the rear, but there is a large overhang behind the end of the tail lamp which should take care of mud of gravel being picked up and splashed by the rear wheel.

It has an under-belly exhaust with aluminum swing arm which is quite light weight and rigid at the same time. The engine is coated in black and there is a small cowl towards the bottom of the engine. There is a large disk brake at the front wheel and a smaller one at the rear one.

On a closer look at the rear, there is a sleek LED tail lamp with sharp and sleek turn indicators. The Duke 390 is also equipped with ABS for safety of the riders.

KTM Duke 390 Specifications

KTM Duke 390 is powered by a 375 CC Petrol engine which is a single cylinder liquid cooled petrol engine. This engine produces a peak power of 44 BHP @ 9500 RPM, it is mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. It has a kerb weight of merely 139 Kg without fuel with a fuel tank capacity of 10.5 litres.

It has WP suspension spring components with ABS and fuel injection system from Bosch. The ABS can be disengaged for riders who love to go beyond normal biking. With low kerb weight and high power to weight ratio, the Duke 390 is one of the most agile motorcycles in its segment.

KTM Duke 390 price is expected to be priced around US $ 8,000 or UK £ 5,000. We will update this section when the official prices are announced.

As per the latest official update, KTM Duke has been priced at an aggressive price of just £ 4,500 in UK which is just £ 305 higher than the price of Duke 200 in UK.
